use analytics for sub-domains

I have Google Analytics for one of my sites, can I use the same code for my three sub-domains as well or do I need different codes for all 3 sub-domains.

As far as I understand the code will still collect data, although how reliable this would be i don't know. However you might be better off setting up unique tracking for each subdomain otherwise it might get confusing.

It will work fine on sub-domains, but all your traffic will be counted as if it was only one site. You will still be able to see what pages got what traffic!

Each sub domain needs to have its own separate account, be careful using the same code as i am aware there is a section in the Google T&C's stating they disable accounts that do this (would need to check)
