Default Google beta-testing floating and expanding ads

Seems that Google might be getting into the rich media market. According to JenSense "Google AdSense is moving beyond the traditional text and graphical advertising to rich media, including interstitials, expanding ads and floating ads. AdSense began contacting publishers last week to be involved in the rich media limited beta test."

I guess "Do no Evil" doesn't include "Annoy the holy crap out of you" There goes the internet ;P

Discuss amongst yourselves because I'll be looking for a good ad blocker for awhile

This is just a shame. But I guess since it will be publisher opt in, is it AdSense doing the evil or the Publisher?

Google shouldn't even be offering this. As history shows any option given to the user will always be abused in the long run.
