    I decided to see what the normal advertising rate was for one of the publications, picked one at random (pc magazine), and here's their rate sheet. http://www.pcmagmedia.com/rates/index.html

    Now, I don't know about you, but I can't afford those prices. Do you think the bids would have to be comparable to those rates in order to win?

    From the looks of the screenshot, it seems to me that those ads will be more of a classified section ads then anything else. Also, I don't think ads will be published in the magazines like PC Magazine, it wouldn't make much sense for those publications and the price would be ridiculous.

    PC Magazine was one of the publications listed on the Google site, which is why I picked it.

    Yes, you're right. In that case I don't see how it makes sense for PC Magazine or any publication of that class...

    I'm going to bid on a number of these and will keep everyone posted as well. I spent 1994 - 2004 in media buying/direct mail so this is right up my alley
