Google Payments Has Accepted Me at Google Base

I have documented the Google Payments acceptance and set up process at the blog. I am currently waiting to do the final verification of my bank account to be able to accept payments through Google Payments on my Google Base product pages.

What steps were involved to put all of this together? If you could give us the 1, 2, 3 it would allow us to assess if we want to do it and give a jump start if we decide to try it.

I got an e-mail yesterday and don't ever remember applying. Going to run through it this weekend and will post back with my findings.
