Thread: Influence which reviews appear in SERPs

Default Influence which reviews appear in SERPs

A Client's site is ranking #1 for his primary keyword.
Beneath that is a places marker for Los Angeles where I'm located.
    That's great.
Problem is: beneath that is a link to a Yelp review from the same business but from their location in Ohio, and it's a listing in Yelp that we haven't claimed. Is there a way that I can optimize my other (claimed) listings, so that they will appear instead?
I know the best way to do that is to get newer reviews, but is there anything else?

I think Reviews from sites recognised by google significantly boots website serps. I have only one review so far from Review Centre and I have just started seeing some of my products on the first pages of searches. I am actively encouraging customers to leave reviews for me when they buy stuff now

    hi,
try to get more citations for your Google Places listing, this helps to boost your ranking in Google Places. also get your website listed in local directories properly and ask your customers to give reviews. Google like to pick up reviews from other websites.
