Wow, The Register lambasted Google!

Is Google a cult, or is Google a corporation? It's hard to tell, and from the company's official literature it seems like it would really, really like to have it both ways.

Permitting a company to "define" the market, then control it, was demonstrated in a far distant era many readers may not remember - by a company called Enron.

But this is now, and technology utopians pin fables as the "Long Tail" onto economic evidence as threadbare as Google's "advertising model".

Don’t drink the Kool Aid!

Those poor people at Google have obviously been brainwashed!

The manipulative, mind-control, influences exerted by the charismatic leaders of Google, (Larry & Sergey) are simply too overwhelming for the poor, week minded fools they employ.

We must intervene and deprogram them at once! We must save them from themselves! Hopefully those poor software engineers can break free, regain freedom of thought and live normal lives again.
