I know this is question of one beginner/ Thank you.
Look, again... and once more. Ok, enough silliness. The Goo Page Rank is a live beast that is calculated on the fly. There is no 'update' per se.Originally Posted by infobih
There are;
TBPR Export: Toolbar PageRank Export - export of Real PR to the Toolbar PR 11 unit scale (no longer called a PR update as Real PR is updated continuously and the Toolbar PR change is just an export of that updated value).
GDPR Export: Google Directory Export - export of Real PR to the Google Directory 8 unit scale (no longer called a PR update as Real PR is updated continously and the Google directory PR change is an export of that updated value).
BL Export: Backlink Export - export of a sample of the number of backlinks which is almost meaningless as it is only a sample number. This number can be seen with the link:www.domain.tld command (no longer called a BL update as backlinks are updated continuously and the visible BL number change is an export of that updated value).
Algo Update: Algorithm Update - a major update in the Ranking algorithm that causes a large SERP change.
TB Program Version Change: Toolbar Program Version Change - a software version change to the Google toolbar that displays PR.
As far as timing, this one took 5 months (Feb 18 2006).
Does that help?
And you are right as usualmany sites i'm checking are show no pr beyond 3 clicks from the homepage.. ummm...
e.g. pr5 to a 4 to a 3 to 0..., its true, there are couple websites on which pages beyond 3 click now have PR0, PR5 before, 1 example is www.sxc.hu.
good news when next pr update inform me ...
This is all very impressive !
I don't know how anybody can justify spending so much time to understand this thing to such a level - the resulting knowledge, although astounding, is (in my deranged opinion) rather irrelvent as most people who still think about PR seem to want to know about the change they see in the Google bar or (preferably) their Firefox PR plugin.
Maybe there is somebody who will appreciate your explanation though - stranger things have happened. You should, perhaps, get out more though...
Well done !

This is a rediculously low bandwidth signature. Isn't it nice?
Somebody said google update its pr data every 3 months, so you can calculate and guess the next google pr update.
