Depends on whether it's a "random" article or something in my field of expertise. The latter, at 125 letters a minute and 4.5 letters per word on average, should take about 18 minutes plus 2 minutes of thinking time + 2 minutes of link-dropping = 22 minutes.

Let's say: half an hour then maybe?

Of course it helps if you're a native speaker or at least a near-native speaker.

2 to 3 hours approximately. For the better quality of content 2 to 3 hours are enough.

IF you are re-writing an articles, it would hardly take 2-3 hours. However a profession content writer take 2-3 days to just create one unique content. He/She would probably take a day just to browse to gain knowledge. Then create a unique one. No doubt they are the best paid professionals in the IM industry.

There is no any specific time for article writing. As it depends about field that the topic is from our field if so then we can write it easily and if not then first we have to research about that and then after we can write fresh content.

Yeah, I completely agree with prcys. You can't set any specific time for writing an article. It depends on a lot of things. I simply wanted to know from all of you that how long you can sit and write on a everyday basis. Because for me it is one article/day apprx. of 400-600 words. After that usually I feel tired as it involves a lot of mental activity. And I take around 3-4 hrs to make a quality article.

I've heard some people can write 5 to 10 articles /day. I just wonder how they do it.
