How to check the backlink of a website

Can any body tell me how to check the backlink.
Is there any sites or tools.
Please suggest me so that i can check the improvement of the website.
i used to visit that site but not getting the appropriate value... The blue backlink checker is also not working... now the yahoo site explorer is also not working properly

i had tried that website also .. its not giving proper result ... i think that website

is updating the backlink of the website in one or two week. any way i got a new

site that gives regular update of the backlink its domain-pop.com ... Thanks for

sorry i am worry,but now no tools can be detected backline.For example Anchor text link have on Search engine can find it....
