I think, that this is another joke from Microsoft. But it is so in very deep?

Google has much users, but Microsft is strange company on field of desktop application. And whats the matter, when Microsoft decide to aplicate thier MSN to all their desktop and internet application...

yeah, MS has backtracked from this, but at least they are giving themselves some goals. Yaho, on the underhand appears to have given up and simply want to maintain search marketshare rather than grow it.

My question is, if MSN does beat google in relevance, will they be able to beat google in marketshare? Two different things entirely.

MSN has got some serious catching up to do if it thinks it can outdo google. We have had many sites rank high, mostly on page one, for competitive keytems but traffic from msn is frankly scarce! Its next to uselesss as far as my experience goes

MS can no longer ignore happenings on the web. They know their stay in this world can only be enhaced if they try to stay on the WWW.

Even though MSN.com is much worse than yahoo and google they still hold the market because MSN is default in IE and 90% of all pcs have windows and IE.

MSN has thoughts of entering the Cost per click market as well.

I think they should stay more active and start services like more email space, free blogs, etc.

Google may have a tough time in the future with MSN.
