To my Amazement in Google and MSN my Google Base profile now ranks #1 for my Name.
One funny thing is that Yahoo has NO listing at all for my Google Base profile. After I did more research I have found that Yahoo seems to have ZERO listings for google base entries. Yes it does have listings for google base but not for any of the user submited content. Any thoughts on this? |

Yahoo may just be slow to update the pages?

Well, see http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=goo...ase.google.com got some results for this.
But not http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=Goo...emy+Schoemaker |

I see... I think yahoo just may have difficulty in parsing the google base urls? It seems to have most of the basic content but not really anything indepth like msn does

Right, but it does index some deep URLs like http://base.google.com/base/reportba...omerId=1001596
Also, it may just take longer to get them all. Yahoo Slurp works differently then GoogleBot in how it crawls pages, I hear. |
